Scientific Retreat

One of the annual highlights of our program is the Predoc Scientific retreat, with a location outside Dresden rotating between Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland. The retreat is organized by enthusiastic Predocs, with the agenda tailored to their interests. The principal purpose is to provide focused time to discuss science with peers and internationally renowned guests. Beyond that, however, it also includes fun, challenging free-time activities and jumpstarts life-long networks and friendships. Since 2006, the Predoc Scientific Retreat has been jointly organized with the DIGS-BB. You can view a list of past retreat locations below.
