Dresden International PhD Program

The IMPRS-CellDevoSys maintains close and enriching ties with the Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB), creating synergistic opportunities under the umbrella of the Dresden International PhD Program (DIPP). The DIPP links highly competitive PhD programs dedicated to first-class research and doctoral training in life sciences in Dresden. PhD students and faculty profit from the open and collegial spirit within the DIPP, often resulting in collaborations exploring new directions of research. Joining forces allows us to offer special training and extraordinary events.

DIGS-BB

In 2006, the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) successfully applied to the German Excellence Initiative, facilitating the foundation of the Dresden International Graduate School for Biomedicine and Bioengineering (DIGS-BB). Since then, the DIGS-BB has become one of the most renowned international PhD programs in the field of Biomedicine and Bioengineering. The DIGS-BB is part of a well-established research structure: the Dresden International PhD Program (DIPP). The DIGS-BB features 6 research areas: Biophysics, Computational Biology, Developmental Cell Biology, Regeneration, Bioengineering & Biomaterials, and Biomedicine.
